GREASE MONKEY: THE ANIMATION

It took a long time for the stars to line up and make this possible. Here, for the first time, is the animated Grease Monkey pilot movie that I’ve written so much about both in the book and on this site. (Check out the “what’s coming in book 2” article to learn how and why it was created.) Ever since production was completed in 2000, the only way you could see this project was on video at a comic book or anime convention, or if you were a TV executive on the receiving end of a pitch.

Remember, in 2000 there was no such thing as YouTube. But now that we’ve crossed that monumental threshold there’s nothing standing in the way of making this available to everyone. (Viva la internet!) Because of the length we had to split it in half, but other than that it’s exactly as intended. Plus, the unspoken bonus here is that you’re actually seeing the opening act of Grease Monkey Book 2! Enjoy!
